Meet our team of ASHA-certified Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists

Kristen Kane, M.A., CCC-SLP
Kristen Kane is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Gonzaga University and her Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach in 2014 where she was granted the “Most Outstanding Thesis” award.
Prior to joining Central Oregon Speech & Language, Kristen worked primarily with children with moderate to profound speech and language disorders in clinic- and school-based settings. While working in the school setting, Kristen directed the creation of a district-wide protocol for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations. Areas of specialty include speech sound disorders and developing early language and vocabulary using play- and literacy-based approaches. Kristen is a self-proclaimed master of the R sound!
Kristen loves spending time outdoors with her husband, her two sons, and two of the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. She is also an avid Gonzaga basketball and Notre Dame football fan.

Amanda Fyfe, M.S., CCC-SLP
Amanda is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from SUNY Cortland and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College.
Amanda has had the pleasure of serving children and families across a variety of settings, including public and private schools, out-patient rehabilitation, pediatric hospitals and home and community based early intervention. She is passionate about implementing a family centered approach to intervention to allow caregivers to support communication development and remediation within the child’s natural environment.
Amanda has a special place in her clinician heart for diagnosing and treating children of all ages with pediatric feeding disorders, apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, disorders related to cleft lip and palate and early language delays. Amanda has completed extensive continuing education in the areas of pediatric feeding disorders, articulation and phonological impairments and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Amanda has enjoyed the opportunity to author publications through multiple media platforms to educate and empower both families and colleagues.

Lily Conner, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lily is a certified Speech-Language pathologist by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Oregon. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, with an emphasis in American Sign Language (ASL) from Portland State University. She went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, graduating “Highest of Honors”. She moved to Central Oregon during graduate school to complete her adult and pediatric externships.
Her education and experience spans across the lifespan working in a variety of settings, including public and private schools, outpatient rehabilitation, and private clinical services. She has a special interest in working with early language development, articulation, fluency (stuttering), expressive/receptive language difficulties, and complex communication disorders. Her approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, as well as compassionate to each individual’s unique set of needs.
